Enabling Positive and Collaborative School Cultures
The Using Data Project will not only assist those in your district or school utilize data effectively, but also will enable positive shifts in school culture. In this segment, Aileen Dickey, Elementary School Principal, from Harrison School District 2 in Colorado Spring, Colorado shares her experience with the Using Data process.
The context is a informal celebration dinner for Data Facilitators. Members of the Colorado team volunteered to tell their story, and we just happened to catch it on tape. While the visual and sound quality are not the best, we believe you will find it interesting and helpful.
Using Data Has Growth Potential
Here is another story from the Colorado Springs Using Data portfolio, this one comes from Diane Naghi, Elementary School Principal.
Imagine either receiving or making such a phone call in your district or school! It can happen.
Way to Go!
Here is another video clip from the Colorado Using Data Facilitator's team. This story is provided by Linda Mooney, who is the STEPuP Principal Investigator in Colorado. Her project supported some of the work that was done in the Colorado Springs schools.
The Using Data process, for many districts and schools, has become a vehicle for engaging and gaining commitment to improve, not only leaders and staff, but also students.
